New Trim Shop 1 SmallDue to an ever increasing demand from our customers and a keen desire to ensure the highest quality finished product Airtime are delighted announce the launch of a brand new facility - an in house Trim Shop.

Jordan, a very experienced upholsterer, has been brought in to run the facility which will provide a complete bespoke interior design and installation service for your aircraft.

All interior parts, seats and panels are hand made by Jordan and his team using the very best materials.

The Trim Shop has already completed the first project...

Bringing this service in house here at Hangar 103 allows our customers the opportunity to speak directly with the people carrying out the work. It also allows our other facilities such as Paint, Avionics and Engineering to plan and effectively schedule work on the aircraft which will be of great benefit to our customers. The Trim Shop will certainly be another key part of our 'Complete End to End' service Airtime provides.

"Less expensive than you might expect"

The very first job our Trim Shop undertook proved the above point perfectly when a Cessna 182 came to Airtime for a new bare metal paint job some new avionics fitted and a new interior. We took a few pictures to highlight our finished work, please click on a picture to see a detailed view.

The total cost including Paint respray, Avioncis and new 'basic' interior was less expensive than you might expect. At just under £20,000 it represents great value for money when you consider everything is hand made to fix exactly, even the seats are real leather!

All for less than £20,000

The owner and the various teams who worked on the aircraft at Airtime were delighted with the aircraft's transformation. The Trim Shop is already working on the second project 'Bucket Seats' and we will bring you news of this soon.
